Building Retro-Commissioning 101

Few measures are more important to the building energy improvement process than energy audits and retro-commissioning.  Like routine service on an automobile, these measures can identify building energy performance issues, assess opportunities to improve performance and fine-tune systems to ensure maximum energy efficiency.

Annual Energy Savings of 8% or $60,980 over 5-years

CES recently performed HVAC Preventative Maintenance and Retro-Commissioning (RCx) services at a 48,551 square foot building in Brandon, Florida.  Energy efficiency measures were implemented resulting in an annual energy savings of 8% or $60,980 over five years.  The simple payback was four months.
