CES Plays in the Mudd for March of Dimes Charity

On Saturday, August 20, 2016 CES participated in the MUDD Volleyball Challenge charity event to benefit the March of Dimes. This event is one of the most anticipated summertime events in Orlando. You have to see it to believe it!

CES sponsored two teams to play in the knee-deep mud. "Swamp Ballers" and "May the Spike be with You" both had loads of fun, though neither made it past the "just for fun" pool play round.

Now in its 24th year, Mudd Volleyball is a fun way to raise funds for the March of Dimes. The tournament challenges over 150 co-ed teams comprised of 6-12 players (two women must be on the court at all times), knee deep in mud, and welcomes hundreds of spectators. All levels are welcome! Each team will choose a division of play based on their skill level. The four levels are: Fun Recreational, Average Recreational, Top Recreational, and Competitive.

This year there were more than 20 courts of at least 4 teams per court in the overall pool play tournament. Over $120,000 were raised to help babies in our community start life in the healthiest way possible. Drinks and food were sold at the event to raise additional money for the cause. Our CES employees ended their day of Mudd Volleyball with a couple friendly competition games of "Swamp Ballers" vs "May the Spike be with You"
